The Entrepreneurship Center @ the Northen Virginia Technology Council announced itsÂ
finalists for its Navagator awards. Navagators are individuals and organizations that are recognized by the Northern Virginia Technology Council and its members as leaders in the promotion and assistance of entrepreneurship. Jonathan is one of three finalists for the individual Navigator award, along with Mike Lincoln and Steve Metlzer, both well respected venture capital attorneys in Northern Virginia.Â

Three organizations were also nominated as Navigators -- George Mason University, the Mindshare networking group and TIE-DC. April Young, a long time leader of the local technology scene will be honored through a lifetime achievement award.

"Amplifier has helped to start 10 companies in the last four years, and the Amplifier Network now has more than 1,200 members, so its great to see these efforts recognized," said Jonathan Aberman, Managing Director of Amplifier. "There is still a great deal of work to do to promote entrepreneurship during these tough times. I am glad to see the NVTC taking such a leading role in this effort."
