Veriam Launches Consumer Version of SurErase

Amplifier Ventures portfolio company Veriam has released the consumer version of its SurErase product.  This is the third Amplifier Business Accelerator Program to launch a commercial product after completion of the program.  SurErase allows consumers to safely and comfortably recycle their computers without fear of data compromise.

"Our technology is the software equivalent to taking a sledge hammer to your hard drive," states Veriam CEO Jim Boyle, "except that with the sledge hammer method, you can't reuse the PC and the resale/donation value decreases dramatically. It's also much easier than smashing the hard drive because SurErase requires no Windows installation, which can be very frustrating for typical users."
